Well every body works …for money but form child hood every one holds an ULTIMATE DREAM in life to make it Possible. What is yours ……………? and did you get it what you wanted and if you say YES then how did you achieved it and if you Say NO then what was the problem

when i was young i want to have a my own business, and so i sell whatever it is that can sold, I have my own little business. Then my uncle introduced me to the world of agriculture, and so i want to take up forestry, then computer came and i was fascinated by it and so I took a course related to computer which is computer science, which i have no idea what its about and now am in a computer field working as SDE and now i dont know if this is what i wanted or if this is my ultimate dream but why is it that am gettting bored with programming and stuff. which use to make me so excited :D
oh i forgot, my grandpa told me that i should also be a lawyer when i was a kid cause i seem to have a lot of opinion on a lot of things, that they could not shut me up, then we met again last last year after a long long time, and ask what happen to me, and I told him " I learned to SHUT UP".
conclusion: My ultimate dream is to rant and rave and get bored :D
My ultimate dream was to build a secret laser-gun inside a hollowed out volcano on a remote tropical island in the Pacific with the giant laser gun pointing at the moon and when its fired the moon will fall on the earth & destroy the earth. And with this in my hands & can hold the world to ransom for any amount of money I want and even declare myself king of the world.
It's not finished yet but I'm working on it.
(no, I can't be serious, even for one second, so stop asking ok? :p )

Sorry, I can't say what is my dream... It's, you know, personal... ;)
My dreams have been changing from time to time...till now nothing solid ... there were some things that I wished to achieve and I am glad that I have (though not that convincingly at a few times) even though sometimes they were too hard. But they are again formulated. Here are some of the things:
1. In school - until 10th standard - I wished to becomes a great batsman like Sachin Tendulkar (I am talking about cricket). I used to see all the cricket matches and would practice alone with my bat - its movement and stance etc like an acting guy sometimes does in front of the mirror.
2. But then during the board exams (in between two papers) - I went to play a local cricket match for my team (I was an opener batsman) and then my father came after me into the ground and called me from the far end of the field. I left my bat there itself went to him and then he held my left ear hard and dragged me to the house - a few slaps - but man .. that was necessary. Before this event - the papers that i gave were hindi (a language here), social studies (history,civics, geography) and english and I got 65, 60 and 83 respectively and then in the papers after this were maths and science in which I got 90 and 98 respectively (out of 100). Amazing for me...i had never thought of it since i was continuouly getting some 60% since standard 5th...Even today I thank my dad for that scolding... :) ...no seriously...i was a pretty spoilt guy :( .
There are many more things I could let you guys know about .. but the post would get very long...so would be skipping .. may be someday I would share... but these days there is one more dream... which is somewhat unreal but yeah.. thats y its there and probably i am not working upon it even. That is being a manager of Man U sometime... Yeah I know.. thats highly unreal given the current circumstances.. but I have gone crazy about the soccer these days .. wont miss a match in the weekends... and i would always try various manipulations on the field that might help the team performance as a whole...
Okay..OKay..enough of all this ... by the way.. nice thread.. :thumb: ..lets see what others have to say about.. :D
My dream is to have a really gorgeous girl as my wife, and this same girl must have my exact kind of style, character and indifferent attitude. :thumb:

All other big dreams of becomming or getting something are just a waste of my brain capabilities. Need it for programming.

For me, it depends, really. We all have sex drives, that's for sure. When my drive is high, I will keep thinking about everything that's dirty.
Anyway, when it's low, like currently, I'm more focused on my career, nature, my job, my life etc.
But when the tide and the drive is high again, when the moon is red and my blood is lusty........parents......keep your girls and daughters at home. The cute good wolf is on the prowl. :wave::D

Anyways, the posts in this thread showed me again that coders/programmers have a really good sense of humor. (Nice anecdote btw, Ideru :lol: ).
My ultimate dream would be.... In general, I just want to have a business of my own and not worry that much about deadlines and stuff. :D (I'm still working on it.)
