//By the way, whats the procedure...criteria..etc etc..I would like to know about mvp stature...i dont know much abt it...is it given to people working for microsoft or anywhere...i mean if its global then i think many would be there to fight for it and it might be very hard to microsoft to decide who to select...

Yes, there's so much new information to dive into when you fist get the award, so you easily miss something in the beginning. I would recommend to look into the MVP private newsgroups as soon as possible (you find information about how to get there on the private MVP site).

Stay visible by contributing in an Microsoft recognised site. Codeguru is one. MS newsgroups are another. It seems like some names are recommented from the site and MS selects a few from them for the award!
