Well, according to the pozitivist view of science, you actually cannot prove anything. Period.
A theory is a model for a system (the world, parts of it, etc). A theory is based on observations and experiments. A theory must be able to predict verifiable results of future observations and experiments. If the predictions match the experimental results, the theory holds. If they don't match, the theory is wrong and must be changed or abadoned. But even if the predictions match the results, you can never prove that the theory is true and it can hold under any circumstances. And some time in the future someone can develop a theory that provides better predictions and replaces the old theory (it happened so many times).
To answer your question now, the scientific theory about the origin of life (i.e. evolution) is based on series of obervations and experiments. No one can prove it's the correct explanation (or to which extent it is the correct eplanation), but currently, there is no better theory. The so called theory of "creationism" is not even a theory, because it doesn't make verifiable results.

Evolutıon ? dont know much about this topic.. but dont want to get
You sound so Asian,Quote:

And are you the one to build that theory ?
In the same way as mathematical unduction works as a method of proof.
Mathematical induction consists of two steps,
i) Prove the statement true for some initial case
ii) Assuming the statement to be true for k, Prove the statement true for k+1.
What you are saying is ignorring step (i) how can you build a theory? Well, you just need step (ii). If you wanted a proof, the you need step (i).
Ground is more fundamental then ground floor.Quote:

all organism's embrios look the same(or almost) that proves that there was one type of organism, now the orign... earth existed out of only water in the early days of earth. however a evolution takes biliiiiiiiiiiioooooooooooons of years to develope. so we are asuming(if we werent brought here by aliens) that the evolution MUST have taken place in WATER. how it developed in water NO IDEA ask a rocker scientist :)
Actually the embrios don't prove anything. But we can induce a theory from it that can produce verifyable results.Quote:

yes, but the people with cannons in their chest (who co-evolved with the sock puppet people) would probably be the dominant species and force the sock-puppet gene into extinction.Quote:

Anyway, according to my calculations the sock puppet people will be forced to serve the canon-chest people by being their boot-polishers. Having socks on your hands takes away half the work of picking up a piece of cloth to polish a boot.
It will be a terrible time for them.
Until of course the next evolution happens after a gigillion years, which is the lizard-men who can shoot venom through their eyes. Then the world will become stable once again.
back to lizzards?? I think not...
We will all evolve to a hybrid form of big eyed, hairless, long fingerred beings. Just like those who visted me last night. (Friendly chaps... except when it came to the needles)
I know this man...his name is Smeagol...he's a big actor now after play the important role in LOTR....Quote:
