LOL, I can't believe it!! :D
Why is it so hard to believe? Finally India won a series overseas.. and that too in SA (for the first time?). Fantastic play by master players - Sehwag, Sachin, etc etc...  :mad:Quote:

Here the rain washed the first match away otherwise, the form they are in they would have had beaten SA 5-0. Good work SA, atleast now you 4 straight defeats against India instead of 5.
Well, AFAIK, SA is 2 - 0 up in the series.
Didn't watch the whole game yesterday, but I saw Justin Kemp and Andrew Hall hitting sixes and fours like crazy!
SA needs a new captain.
SA needs a new coach.
SA needs new openers.
India is playing so good these days thar probably ICC would award the World Cup to India without playing any match.
Why waste so much time and money of sponsers, ppl watching matches, and players when we already have the undisputed kings of one day cricket - India. ;)
In fact this would enable Indian cricketes to model in some more fashion shows, music videos or even in some movies....
Who told you? You must have seen Sehwag and Tendulkar doing that! :mad:Quote:

It is so unfair.
Now BCCI should select another coach and new team for Indian cricket. Only this new b-grade team should be allowed to play with this world's crickets. After all, the competition should be fair.
As far as our beloved Sachin, Sehvag, Dravid are concerned.... the whole team (along with coaching staff) should be sent on a 1 lightyear long cricket tour to Jupiter, mars and Saturn.....
:DI hope you know that lightyear is a unit for distance and not time.. :D ;) but the rest your propose, I definitely agree! :thumb:Quote:

Choose your words carefully guys, just in case you have to eat them tomorrow... :D
And india needs whole new set of players. ;)Quote:

You folks are not able to understand the hidden pain in those words... just take a look at www.cricinfo.com and you shall know why I said what I said (or do you? ).
I am not celebrating too early.. this celebration is a pain!
Ah, okay... You mean this thread title is fantasy? :D
And your words were sarcastic? Okay... I understand now...
Does India still play cricket ??
India Teams Next Target is 50 - All Out .... Man these guys really have some talent :D
Somhow indian players keep loosing their morale, I don't know if that's because the mgmt. board or internal politics.
It could also be , because they have time only for advertaisments and modeling stuffs, and make too much money, by just being a part of the so called Cricket Team, When one can just sit and make money, who would be really intrested in working hard ?
No.. no... there is no reason. There can be no reason.Quote:

That would have had given them time to adapt to the conditions... that they are doing now in the matches.... but still the truth remains the same. They are playing aweful and they are missing Ganguly and Laxman's experience.
The top guys are okay - like sehwag, sachin, dravid, dhoni... but who are these other guys - kaif, dinesh kartik, dinesh mongia, raina etc? They are useless.. they cannot play in SA. They don't have experience to those conditions or heart to face pitched deliveries. They cannot be the middle order which usually has been a strength of the indian cricket team. They are not dependable.. one or two from them is okay in the side but not all. We need laxman... we need ganguly.
And if that is not possible... i know why it isn't ... we can do without guru greg.
okay .. India lost the pratice match.. :D ;)
What about soccer? Why such countries which have over 1000 mln population like China and India are weak in soccer? :)
Well, India is not only weak in soccer but also in Cricket... So, Indians at least are pretty consistent on that front... :D ;)
But India won the Test match today... (by 123 runs)Quote:

Gremlin SA .. :D
We don't play much soccer and that's why we are weak. Cricket is the biggest business in the subcontinent. It does not allow any other sport to come up. People are trying though.
Yup! I am a little bit happier now.. with India winning the first test! Good knocks by Ganguly, Laxman, Zaheer, Prince. Good bowling by Sreesanth, Zaheer, Kumble, Pollock.
The piece of attraction was Sreesanth.. with some amazing bowling and entertainment.. If you know what I am talking about.
Oh.. he got fined.. I missed that view for which he was fined.. but he is a very enthusiastic lad! Nel deserved that.. he is a little bit too much for nothing... and I don't think any disrespect or so was intended from Sreesanth...Quote:

One similar ocassion happened when Aamir Sohail hit Prasad for a boundary and showed him the way it went and the next ball he was clean bowled... it's amazing how things back-fire.. but it is always entertaining watching these...
The fine wasn't for dancing. Was for some kind of action when he got a wicket. And they judged that it was a disrespect shown to the batsman that was out. :rolleyes:Quote:

I think it was good fun between Nel and Sreesanth - they made the game exciting and it's actually what Cricket needs, especially when a test match is quite boring.
There are always little duels between players, and it's always interesting to see who will win. for instance :
Smith vs. Zaheer - who wins everytime there
I'm really glad that India won this test match, and I think that they will win the series 3 - 0.
It's time SA cricket realises that people cannot play good if the don't play regularly. Some of the players there haven't played a test match in 6 months!
The middle order and b0ttom order cannot always save the game, as you saw, the failed the first innings, and the whole team got 84!
Now, the SA team is resting for the second test, and India has organised a 2 day game with KZN. How can we rest !!¿
That's why we are going to lose this series 3 - 0
Oh.. he was not fined for that. He was fined for two things:Quote:

India won't win that easy now.. but surely their confidence must have got a boost... I am hoping for a good series and not a pathetic one like the One-dayers... :)
It's all in the Papers in SA.. Sidelined players (one who hasn't played a test match in almost a year) is now on the team, In a last ditch effort to win the Test Series..
Hmm.. I agree with Hannes, SA is going to loose it..
and all i can say is that India do Deserve the win..
Lets wait and see ......
Gremmy..
I was saying that in general. Statistics do reveal it.Quote:

Well, to be quite frank.
I'm surprised that SA pulled off the win, especially with all the time lost.
now we wait for the tie breaker....
Any one want to start placing bets ;);)....
24 hours left....
Well, this time we will win.. :D (well atleast I can say we will win for the days till the match is not finished... :D thank god)
Hmm India did good on day one...
275/3
SA has to change strategies to try and recover this...
Jaffer did good. Karthik did good. :thumb:
It seems like this match will be like a walk in the park for India
No...no... it won't be that easy..but today's game should tell more about the result. I am predicting 55% India win, 35% draw and 10% India loss. :)Quote:

The thing missing until now in this series is a Sachin 100. I am hopeful that he takes his innings further in this test. He has been scoring good but from a player of his calibre.. it is too less. :)
And after all that.... SA wins by 5 wickets... But it was very close to a draw, If the rain held on...
Maybe next time India will get it ;)..
