Controlling your dreams

how do you control your dreams? can u make yourself smarter while you sleep?
is it possible to interface with the dreaming process by software or broadcast to the brain images while sleeping?

I tried that once but I kept dreaming that the earth was flat.

I had a dream that no one would ever SPAM us again.
