    Re: Excel writing time is inconsistent.

    Sure it is possible! I use it (hide the Excel application) while generating the sheet data. And I use it from C++ code via Excel automation.
  2. Re: How to store Hindi characters in MYSQL database

    Did you try

    ...
    CREATE TABLE `hindi` ( `data` nvarchar(200) COLLATE utf8_unicode_ci NOT NULL) ENGINE=InnoDB DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 COLLATE=utf8_unicode_ci;
    INSERT INTO `hindi` (`data`) VALUES...

  4. Re: WinAPI: Multi-Monitor functions -- Monitor / Screen / Virtual Screen nomenclature

    Agree. i know this site since early 2000. I learned a lot reading Joe's essays.
    I also met him three or four times at MVP global summits. It was very interesting and exciting to communicate/discuss...
  5. Re: WinAPI: Multi-Monitor functions -- Monitor / Screen / Virtual Screen nomenclature

    Have a look at this great Joe Newcomer's essay: http://www.flounder.com/virtual_screen_coordinates.htm
  6. Re: File path name has some chinese or other characters

    Use _T() macro (as Arjay already mentioned)
    Use TCHAR instead of char type
    Use LPTSTR instead of char* or LPSTR
    Use LPCTSTR instead of const char* or LPCSTR

  7. Re: File path name has some chinese or other characters

    You have to build your program as UNICODE.
  8. Re: Filter a txt file based on an Excel template

    It is not a good idea.
    If your knowledge is too poor, then try to improve it! So learn the C/C++ programming!
  9. Re: Filter a txt file based on an Excel template

    Re: Excel writing time is inconsistent.

    Re: Registry access in Windows 7

    According to docs:

    So both:
    RegOpenKeyExA (HKEY_CURRENT_USER, "Software\\Jack",
    and
    RegOpenKeyExA (HKEY_CURRENT_USER, "SOFTWARE\\Jack", should you give the same result.

    And how about the reading the docs?...
  17. Re: how use UDT(User Defined Types) on a class?

    Please, attach the error message to your post! :(
    And the best variant would be to see it as text, not as an image!
  18. Re: 'player::player': no overloaded function takes 4 arguments

    First your post was absolutely unreadable cause you used neither the CODE tags, nor the proper code formatting/indentations.
    Second: although I added the code tags in your post it is still not clear...

  20. Re: Programm crashes due to the presence of code even if it is not executed

    Your "attachment is invalid:

    Where exactly did you set a breakpoint?
    Where exactly "the program crashes"? Please, copy the output and post it here.
  21. Re: Programm crashes due to the presence of code even if it is not executed

    Rewrite your code to be convenient to debug:

    int main (int argc, char *argv[])
    {
    WSADATA wsa;
    if (1==2)
    {
    WSAStartup(MAKEWORD(2,0),&wsa);
    }
    } // main
  22. Re: Is it possible to connect SQL Server via internet without opening port like teamv

    You are right. I did not understand your question. So try to ask to make it more easy to understand.
