    Have you tried some of the BlueScreenView type apps that will display the BSOD dump file in an easy to read report so you can see what caused it.

    Microsoft has their Virtual Desktop and Oracle makes VirtualBox. You can load up as many as your desktop system can handle and the number of valid licensed copies of windows.

    FYI - Announcements like the one in question show up under Announcements in the control panel... The one in question expired.... I added five years to the END Date.

    I would assume that the Application itself is doing the save. It would be the only app that has a vested interest in protecting you.
