    Re: TRACE MACRO problem in MFC

    Wouldn't you like to change this to something like

    {
    tri = TriBuf->m_listoftriangles.GetAt(pos);
    res = tri->depth;
    TRACE("\ngetnext distance %lf \n", res);
    }

    Re: array of objects

    Just debug your code step-by-step, also stepping in the std::vector ctor!

    Re: array of objects

    What does (in this context) mean "works OK"?
    And when it would be assumed to be "not OK"?
  6. Re: openFileDialog - AccessViolationException was unhandled

    This code:

    using namespace System;
    using namespace System::Windows;
    using namespace Forms;

    [STAThread]
    int main(array<System::String ^> ^args)
    {
    String^ MyExcelFile = String::Empty;

    Re: Creating a popup window above an another.

    Have a look at SetWindowPos function and its second parameter
  8. Re: openFileDialog - AccessViolationException was unhandled

    What is openFileDialog1?
    What is MyExcelFile?
    Which line causes the exception?

    Are you sure the points (10, 100) and (20, 200) are within the printing area?

    Re: Compatible C++ libraries Questions.

    I doubt...
    Just because there is no so many people at CG that work with cross-platform programming.

    Re: Question about send() function.

    Didn't you read the documentation of send function? :confused:
    There is a pretty clear description:

  20. Re: Where can I get User32.lib file?

    You may want to look at the existing code examples in Web:...
  21. Re: Where can I get User32.lib file?

    What does the e (ProcAdd) (hwnd,pd.hDC,PW_CLIENTONLY); return? TRUE (some value != 0) or FALSE (0)?
    If it is FALSE then this function failed.
  22. Re: Where can I get User32.lib file?

    I guess you have defined this ProcAdd not correct (unfortunately you didn't show the definition).
    See the correct example here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/build/getprocaddress?view=msvc-160

    Re: VS2019 - Debugging without the exact code

    Tools->Options->projects and solutons->build and run-> Then choose from comboboxes whether to:
    "Prompt to build" / ...
    "Prompt to run" / ...
  24. Re: Where can I get User32.lib file?

    You may want to show your code.
