    Re: header files online database

    The header files are just that - headers. They don't have the associated source code for the declared functions (ie for the functions declared in nrutil.h). To get this code to compile you either...

    Re: istream_iterator with for loop

    That line works just fine! That's not the problem. If you're reading from a file and you read all the data, what happens to the file state? When you get to the end of the file, can you read again...

    For C++20. Currently implemented in GCC 9 and VS2019 16.5 - but not yet Clang.

    For info about the proposal, see http://www.open-std.org/jtc1/sc22/wg21/docs/papers/2018/p0356r5.html

    Re: boost::bind

    Consider as a 'simple' example:

    using std:: placeholders::_1;

    std::vector<int>v {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9};

    const size_t val=std::count_if(v.begin(), v.end(),

  11. Re: Good afternoon I need help with the software C / C ++ for Visual Studio Code

    Have you confirmed that your VS installation can properly compile C++ code - using a simple test program?

    What is your current level of knowledge of C++?

    What type of computer game? If it is...

    Re: Need help for a C++ hangman game

    Consider this. You haven't posted the used functions so I've used temp versions so that the code compiles:

    #include <iostream>
    #include <string>

    using namespace std;

    string chooseWord()
