Unfortunatelly I didn't get to read it all. I'm at page 133 so far, but I hope that until it's 3rd birthday I will have it all read.
PS: neither the Watchful Eye of Sauron nor the wisdom of the First Borns under the light of Earendil could have imagined the monstrous size of this Thread.

Oh yeah, I didn't remember that It's true that there was only one subforum in Gen Disc before this thread.
It's probably this thread which made me stay at CG for a while longer
Get this small utility to do basic syntax highlighting in vBulletin forums (like Codeguru) easily.
Supports C++ and VB out of the box, but can be configured for other languages.

I remember also the time where nobody visited the Gen Disc forum and there were very less threads. The "Where are we from" thread has changed a lot since then

Yves, this thread is older than you (barely)... and far older than me... Hmmm we missed the two-year anniversary of the thread but now it's the two-year anniversary of Yves' join date.

Cimp, if you want REALLY old threads, then dig deeper . Some of them are from 1999 albeit no longer used .

Maybe grouping the countries in those who make beer and in those who make wine ... and those who make both ... Like Mick suggested

This would put the US in those who make wine then.
Though I do like wine as much as beer.
