    Low Res Images?

So I've got a new laptop, and everything's running smoothly and whatnot. The only problem is all the images are a little fuzzy (including icons in the taskbar and tray). There's probably a setting somewhere that is controlling this but I haven't been able to find it. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or know how to fix it? Thanks.

Hard to say, what is your resolution and color depth?

Hum, strange. Have you tried updating the graphics driver?

No... the strange thing is that images within most programs show up fine; it appears to be mostly just IE and the desktop.

Have you checked the Anti Alising setings of your graphic cards? That might be a problem when it's too low for such a high resolution.

I don't know how to do that...

By the way, graphics show up just fine in Firefox.

*scratching-my-head* ... Okay It cannot be the Anti Alising setting then. Maybe it's just an issue some of the application suffer from who cannot handle your resolution. The best way to check if something is wrong with your graca is to play a game, or any other programm that use D3 support. If the frames there show up correctly there then everything is just fine.

    Re: Low Res Images?

I opened IE and Firefox next to each other, and it looks like the problem might be stemming from the fact that IE is making the images larger than they should be. Any way to correct this?

That could be caused by accessibility features. I only have Windows 2000, so I can't check here whether this is the case or not.

That seems to make the most sense at this point. However, I've looked through all the accessibility options I can find and none of them have any bearing on the issue. At any rate, I seem to be getting along alright with the computer so far and the problem seems negligible at this point. Thanks for your help .
