    Date & Time

Hi, I needed to extract current machine date in my application. Can "_strdate" be used in Linux? Also, is there any open-source Time & Date library like MFC's CTime?

    Thanks in advance.

    _strdate is non-portable.
time localtime, gmtime and ctime strftime and asctime are ANSI and POSIX standard.

The typical UNIX program uses GLIBC:
