    [RESOLVED] [Error] Cannot open include file: 'windows.h'

    Hello people,

    I encountered a problem in compiling after following the instructions presented at [link], since I was trying to include MFC in my MSVC++ Express Edition. Will someone, kindly, help me to fix the problem

    ------ Build started: Project: ProjectName, Configuration: Debug Win32 ------
    c:\documents and settings\em\desktop\em\042407\modelviewer1\projectname\projectname\stdafx.h(28) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'windows.h': No such file or directory
    Build log was saved at "file://c:\Documents and Settings\Em\Desktop\Em\042407\ModelViewer1\ProjectName\ProjectName\Debug\BuildLog.htm"
    ProjectName - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)
    ========== Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========
    I am thinking if this error has something to do with Step #5 from [link]. Please, help.. thanks

    I haven't used the express edition, but that error sounds like you skipped Step #3. You need to setup your INCLUDE path to add the platform SDK.
