    Cool Firefox plugins...

Since this cool browser is coming up with so many really cool plugins, and innovative features - I thought we can do with a thread that discusses the latest innovative plugin...

Here's one that is in my opinion the best so far - The Viamatic Foxpose Plugin.
    https://addons.mozilla.org/extension...=1457&vid=7825

It gives a preview of all tabs currently open.

    Re: Cool Firefox plugins...

I have the extension Firesomething 1.70

It changes the titlebar where it says Mozilla Firefox to something different on every session.

    Today it's Mozilla Thunderostrich
    Yesterday it was Mozilla Hypnopony

    They get pretty funny.

    Some more examples:

Watermule, Firejaguar, Waterklumpen, Fireanemone, Spacebuffalo, Firemole, Suncoyote etc etc etc

Not really a useful feature but.. Brings a random title each time. :P

For me, its the Tab X extension. It removes the close button at the end of the tab bar, and adds a close button on each of the browser tabs. I really found this useful, only now I discovered that you can close a tab by middle-clicking it. I still like it though.

he still hasn't updated it, but it works, for the most part.

I have that installed and it is pretty handy when you are using quick reply option.

I only use ChatZilla (IRC) and TamperData by now. With TamperData you can manipulate any form info (HTTP headers, post data, get data, cookies) before the request is being sent. Since I am currently exploring web programming, this helps to test and debug my first steps of web programming using ASPX and Perl.

I don't use any of the new plugins because I still believe that 1.5 uses up way to much memory. I am currently using either IE 6.0 or FF 1.0.7.

The Quick Tabs feature from IE 7 (beta) is looking better in my opinion.

Yeah, I really do. So what? It looks like a photo album. I like it.

PS: I'm known as a great defender of IE.

A space wastage of 33% for a photo album is real waste nevertheless... (Even photos can be optimally organized... )

FF plugin in comparison optimizes screen usage in a way that you can read the 4 pages (depending on screen resolution), and not be forced to view them as photographs...

Okay... IE really does need one.

Anyways, reading the thread title / OP again might help...

Well... That really depends on the size of your screen and the number of tabs open.

But, you can do this: CTRL + Scroll Mouse

    Try it... Might help.

Creative indeed... But, I think this is not available for FF 1.5+. Right?

I use Sage as a Firefox add-in. It is useful for looking at RSS information.
