working with bitmaps

hello everybody,

i am having one bitmap (bmp file), i got the width, height and pixel details. i want to display a new bitmap (means create a new bitmap) with the above said details. can anyone help me how to do this?

also is that possible to save these details and can be used in another project?

iam working with win32, not MFC.
