How can I use mergefields in MS Word without opening Word ?
I have a Word file with some mergefields that has to be used in multiple docs.

e.g. Mergefields : Name, Address
Now I have a list of people with their names and addresses.
I want to merge their names into the word document, but one word document for every record.
The way I have it now is by opening Word and merging the values, but if I want to make 10 documents MS Word is opening 10 instances to merge. So guess whats happening if I want to make 500 documents.
I tried opening in notepad and editing the mergefield things I saw by some text, but that the file is getting corrupt.

I trigger the merge functions by calling a DLL created in VB 6 and calling the functions in it with client sided VBscript (yes, its IE only anyway)
