    Color editor bug

Problem: Spaces are removed from code when pasted into the editor.

In the CP, my editor is set to: Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Edition

    To repro:
Click reply on a thread (remember to use the WYSIWYG editor).
Past some code from an editor (I use Visual Studio).
Add the [C0DE] [/C0DE] tags to the code.
    Click submit.

    Expected:
The code to appear exactly as pasted in.

    Actual:
Spaces are removed from the code.

    Note the missing spaces...

That would have to be submitted to vBulletin.

Would you mind forwarding it to them?

Actually since they are already a new version past this one, they probably won't be too concerned. Once we upgrade we'll see if the issue remains, and report it then. Thanks

    Re: Color editor bug

There wouldn't be any risk to reporting it now. Either they know about the issue and have fixed it. Or they know about the issue, haven't fixed it, but now might give it more importance so it could get fixed faster.

On the other hand, if you sit on the bug and they don't know about it, it will be three versions from what we have now at the very least to get a fix.

Then again, it's not really my call to pass this on the vBulletin. All I can do is take the time to report the issue - I can't really make sure anyone passes it up the food chain.
