Are proxies allowed?
About half the time I'm browsing on a proxy, if I come here I get an error saying my IP is blocked by an admin. Are proxies just not allowed on CodeGuru, or did someone decide to troll using one of the proxies that I hook up to and it got banned?

Re: Are proxies allowed?
We b lock some IPs due to spamming. If an isp shares IPs, then this can cause problems for others. Send the IP o jpnyc or email webmaster at this site and we will look into it.

Re: Are proxies allowed?
Proxies are frequently used by spammers whose primary ISP has already been blocked. For this reason you will find quite a number of them blocked. They are not however all blocked.

Re: Are proxies allowed?
Thank you, it was a public proxy, which I know is used by spammers. I'm on a private proxy now and aren't having any trouble, thanks
