Re: Spam
Yes.. It's a big problem with SEO Experts that charge people $100's for link building strategy's that include Spamming forums and blogs, With Obvious off topic posts and profiles..
I'm developing forum code that runs on DNN that makes some effort to combat this (not sharing how exactly), and have found that 50% of the new users on my test forum Do Exactly this..
#1 Register, and setup a Spammy Linking Profile..
#2 Make one or two Spammy Linking Posts.. (one person even did 10 posts on Essential Oils)..
#3 Never return to the forum to partake in any other discutions ..

Re: Spam
Interesting that site managers don't react to spam reports. This junk is still in my contact list, and I cannot remove it. In the CodeProject they kick of spammers within a few minutes (again and again, CodeProject is better...)

Re: Spam
Thanks. Meanwhile I found the way to remove it from my pending requests list. It looks like I need to learn some basic Internet usage
