    Mapping Access 2010 Expression Fields

    Hello,

I have an expression field in an Access 2010 database called defect. It is the result of an iif statement yielding yes or no. As a test, it looks like it won't map any expression, no matter how simple. For example, I tried defect:"x"

The problem is that the field comes up as unmapped when you try to change the datasource from the old Access97 version to the new Access 2010 version. Nothing was done to the report except importing it from Access 97 in Access 2010.

So I have two questions: The field appears on the field list as memo - can I somehow force Crystal to recognize it as text, 3? Is Crystal even able to map expression fields from an Access 2010 query?

    Thanks,
    Dan
