    MD5 checksum

Is there anything within Windows that'll show me the MD5 checksum value for a given file? Or if there isn't - does anyone know of an app (preferably free!) that'll show it?

    There's also FCIV. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...ity-verifier-u

There's various others available. This one integrates with File Explorer as it creates an extra property tab that shows the checksum. code.kliu.org/hashcheck/

All advice is offered in good faith only. All my code is tested (unless stated explicitly otherwise) with the latest version of Microsoft Visual Studio (using the supported features of the latest standard) and is offered as examples only - not as production quality. I cannot offer advice regarding any other c/c++ compiler/IDE or incompatibilities with VS.
