cygwin : trying to install ddd

i use the cygwin to try some simple programs with g++ in windows.

I remember i used to have ddd, installed on my old machine.

Now i try to install ddd. And i found i need to install the xorg-server and xinit for startxwin.

I installed them and when i try to run the startxwin: i get the following error.

xauth: file /home/user/.Xauthority does not exist

    Any hint/help is very helpful

Re: cygwin : trying to install ddd

I figured out the issue and by doing the :
    export DISPLAY=localhost:0.0

it is now opening the Xwindows.

But now i had to open the cygwin terminal from the Xwin terminal and run the ddd. It is very slow. Any options please let me know
