    Destructors in C++

    Hey all,

    Was researching C++ and questions about the topic. Came about the concept of destructors when going through this [Link removed]. I wasn't really sure there's some code to destruct/delete something. If yes, any small example would be helpful.

    TIA!!

    Re: Destructors in C++

    Code:
    class ctest {
    public:
    	ctest(size_t sz) : ptrs(new int[sz]), sze(sz) {}	// Constructor

    	~ctest() { delete[] ptrs; } // Destructor to delete allocated memory

    private:
    	size_t sze {};
    	int* ptrs {};
    };
    All advice is offered in good faith only. All my code is tested (unless stated explicitly otherwise) with the latest version of Microsoft Visual Studio (using the supported features of the latest standard) and is offered as examples only - not as production quality. I cannot offer advice regarding any other c/c++ compiler/IDE or incompatibilities with VS.
