Why I can't find old MFC or C++ articles on codeguru?

I have read many cool tutorials about MFC and C++ on codeguru, these articles and the included demo projects are very helpful for developers, but now I can't find these articles by search, these tutorial just disappeared. What happen to codeguru? Thank you!

I typed "CList" in the search box, and got the some results, including this article with title "CListBox with the Horizontal Scroll Bar that Works" URL: https://www.codeguru.com/cplusplus/c...ar-that-works/


But if I copy the title into the search box and search again, there will be no result at all.

On the other hand, at the end of the article https://www.codeguru.com/cplusplus/c...ar-that-works/ ,there are two download links named as "Download demo project ? 23 Kb" and "Download source ? 3 Kb", but when I click the links to download the files, the page shows "Oh 404! The page you're looking for is no longer available." .

Unfortunately, Codeguru no longer allows people to download the demo project and source files.

Many guru's articles are invisible now!

Did you notice that the article you linked too is TWENTY TWO YEARS OLD?

This site has been bought and sold 6 or 7 times in the past 22 years. The most recent one from a few years ago - download type of files were not carried over. By the time it was noticed - it was too late.

Thank you for the information, I don't know the website was sold several times. That's why the changes are so much.

It's funny that the Windows 8 stuff I put on the forum a decade ago are still in the sidebar here on the forum. Does TechnologyAdvice still own the site and forum? If so, then it really has been primarily 3 owners in 22 years.
