Need Help Designing A "MonthView" Like Calendar in VB6
I have an application written in classic Visual Basic 6.0. It uses the ActiveX control "MonthView".
I would like to accomplish the same calendar interface using just VB6, without an ActiveX control.
It would display a calendar and if the user clicks a date the date would be highlighted.
It would look like the calendar shown in the attached image. I would probably use a PictureBox control
and label controls for the dates. Command buttons would let the user navigate to months in the past or future.
I do not want today's date to be highlighted.
Can anyone offer advice on how to make this look professional? Does anyone know if there is existing VB6 code that would do this?
All advice is offered in good faith only. All my code is tested (unless stated explicitly otherwise) with the latest version of Microsoft Visual Studio (using the supported features of the latest standard) and is offered as examples only - not as production quality. I cannot offer advice regarding any other c/c++ compiler/IDE or incompatibilities with VS.
