    CTreeCtrl - Delay Keystroke

is there a way to delay the results of hitting another item in the tree, while using the arrow key? i don't want to kick off filling up my CListCtrl in the RightView if the user is just quickly running through the folders (a la explorer). or do i have to use a hokey timer for this?

    thanks!

I think you'll need to use a timer. I'm not sure what's 'hokey' about that. I think it's used for everything similar, including tooltips.
