Error 48 Unable to load dll
Help
I had created a program about a year ago that among other things it would create a report and give you the option of previewing it, printing it, or exporting it to Excel.
Back when I made the program the export to Excel worked fine. Now, when I try the export to Excel function I get an error -
Error 48 Unable to load dll.
I have narrowed this error to the statement in code -
Set XApp = CreateObject("Excel.Application.9")
I am using Excel 2000 which is Excel9.
I have researched this error here and at the MSDN site. From what I have learned, I'm guessing is that a dependent dll file has changed or is missing. If that is the case, how do you determine which dll file is causing the problem.
Thanks in advance

Re: Error 48 Unable to load dll
you could use the dependancy walker that comes as part of the setup of studio when installing VC++ or you could try just recompiling the code. Also by opening the original project, by looking in the references it may show a missing file.
