After installation
I installed mandrake on my computer, I have only 30gb, 15 for win 15 for linux, I left 5 for win when trying to installed linux, means I used only 10 gb for linux. Now, I can't find the left free 5 gb anywhere on my system, how can I find it ?
Thanks

If you don't know, don't post. People rate negatives for that usually. Just so you know.
Grabbler, so you left the 15GB with Linux and then took the other 15 from Windows and split that down even more? You may want to see what version of Mandrake you installed. Before 9 there was NTFS(Windows file system) conflicts with FTNS(Mandrake earlier file system). File system conflicts will cause loss of partitions and is easily recoverable if you change the main file system.

I had done something stupid and lost a lot of GB's in my old computer and I did something with Partition Magic and got it back... the only thing is that I don't remember much.. it was long time ago. So, incase it proves to help, I posted it. Anyway, no harm done by using a program.
Thanks for the advice

You must remember that he said he lost the 5GB which is where he stored his Windows OS. Partition Magic is run on Windows platform. Granted, some Linux systems can run Windows applications, not all are compatible.
That is why I mentioned it.
