Removing mouse focus
Dear all,
I have an edit box inside my ActiveX control. I want to disable mouse activation of the edit box when the user clicks on it. I want the activeX control itself to get the focus?
The only way I found that works is to disable the Edit box...which is not what I want.
Please can anyone help, as my project deadline is getting tight.
Thanks
Matthew

Re: Removing mouse focus
Windows themselves cannot get the focus, by design; instead, one of the controls must have the focus. The only way I can think of is to override the parent window's OnSetFocus() and prevent it from putting the focus on one of its children. Whether this will work or not I don't know.
