    Binary Formatter not suitable accross firewalls

    The BinaryFormatter class is generally not appropriate when data is meant to be passed through a firewall.
    Why?

    to scare the unexpecting into using Super-bloated Object Occess Protocol.



    I've never run into problems with it.
