    Exclamation engine management sytems software

    Does anyone know what language engine management software is written in? I have a 1994 BMW 525i and would like any info regarding how to hack into the computer system for performance and engine troubleshooting informatiom that would supply the same information a BMW dealer could access. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

    If the engineers at BMW had half a brain, they would have written their software in C.
