    have a general AS/400 question

I am an admin for a company. On our floor we use "dumb terminals" or T2000 terminals. Every now and then they lose their connection to the network. And no matter what we do, it wont come back online until we give it a new IP. We can never go back to the IP that was "banned" by the system...

My question is, is there a "ban" list that doesnt allow certain IPs to connect? Is there an as400 command to get to the list? Its really an ODD situation when this happens. And im losing IPs because of it...

Re: have a general AS/400 question

I suspect that it's highly unlikely you'll get an answer for that here. Do you have IBM support? That sounds like something you should call IBM about - after all, you're talking about troubleshooting one of their mainframes. Especially if it's causing you to loose IP addresses!
