    [RESOLVED] Program having old icon.

    I recently changed my icon in visual studio 2005. The icon appears to have been changed successfully after building the solution. Until i move the .exe to my desktop, then it changes to the old icon, the only way to fix this is by renaming the program by right clicking it.

    I am using windows vista

    Any idea why it is doing this?

    Um.. Is your icon an embedded resource? Otherwise it will need to be in the folder of your executable, by default.
