    Need to make a "fake printer"

    Hello, I'm a db developer and don't do much systems work. I want to set up a "printer" that will actually route the data to a txt file (with a unique filename) on the server. The key is that it appears to an app to be a genuine windows printer. Any ideas on how this might be done?

    goto setting printer and add a printer select genetic text/only as the printer type.
