    Environment

A application is developed with VB6.0 and oracle 8.0 as backend. But there is problem with
the Provider,in some machines the application works fine with provider as 'MSDASQL.1' where as in some other machines it works only with 'ORA'
    as the provider.
Can anybody give a solution/reason for this problem,so that the application can run on any machine with the same Provider.

    Re: Environment

MSDASQL is the oledb provider for SQL server. The MSDAORA is the driver for oracle. If you use the last one, it should work on any machine.
