How can I record an audio CD track from an external stereo system(a musical center)to my PC??? How can I get good quality??

If the sterio system is external you can connect it to the pc, simply play the song and use some software that will record it (I have used voyetra audio station, and its v good.
But this will not yeild good quality. Rather the quality depends opon the audio-player and sound card, but there are no general rules which stereo will work better! This is from my personal experience.
The best way is to encode the track though some software but it works only if the CDROM is attached to the pc. It gives the CD quality voice. Mp3s are encoded like this!
