    startup

    i need to know how to get my program to run in the startup, but with out putting the exe in the startup folder, i heard somehting about programming the registry.

    but i have not a clue where to start

    You can add an entry to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
    The name of the entry should be the name of your program, and the value should be the full path (including name of exe) to your program.
    To find out how to write to the registery, just search the board and you'll come across some examples.
