Question from a noob...
I am trying to make a simple program for a game that will send text from a text box into the window the game is running in. I've looked at several source codes, but they don't really help. Any help here would be appreciated.

Kindly make your question clear. Is this window a part of your application? or is it an independent exe application?

Sorry for not making it clear, but yes it is an independent exe. It's an already existing game in which you can chat and I want my program to have a little text box to send the text to the game's window.

Re: Question from a noob...
You should be able to use the VB functions AppActivate and SendKeys... (AppActivate to make the window the active window, then use SendKeys to send keystrokes to the active application) if you have problems with AppActivate, you can use API calls. Not sure exactly which one you need, maybe SetForegroundWindow or SetActiveWindow
