    how to make bitmap greyscale and using the CDC pointer

    Hi
    i am new to VC++ some body tell me how to make a bitmpa greyscale and i want to do it in an event like a menu controlling the method for greyscale,so how i will access the CDC pointer which i have located to the bitmap while reading it.
