MS OS still supporting DOS?
Thinking 'bout replacing my old puter with a new one
But I wonder if XP or 2000 (I figgur one or the other are bundled) support DOS. It would pose a problem if I had to give up DOS.
TIA

They have a DOS emulator, which is not DOS and many DOS
programs will not run on W2k or XP.
Wakeup in the morning and kick the day in the teeth!! Or something like that.

Yes they do.
Command-line, yes. MS-DOS, no.
As souldog mentions, what you see in XP, Win 2K, and Windows NT, is not DOS, it is the command-line. What Microsoft did was support the command-line for running most old 16-bit programs. However, the command-line isn't DOS.
DOS is another operating system (16-bit) where the last version made by Microsoft was 7.0 (Windows 95), and the last 16-bit version (the one that runs Windows 3.1) was version 6.22.
