Hi !

I have written an server application which
comprises of a set of component registered
in Microsoft Transaction Server. The components
are written using Visual Basic. Each of these
components connects to the oracle 7.3 database
using ADO 2.0/ODBC.

The components are instanciated from an executable
written in VB ( Jobs ). These jobs are executed
every 10 minutes.

The problem that I am having is the my components hangs
while connecting to the database.
It does not even timeout. This happens after the jobs are
executing for half a day. And the only solution is to
restart the NT server. And most surprising thing is the
NT Service that schedules this jobs keeps on connecting
and running and it never hanges. This NT Service is also
written using VB but it is not at all related to MTS.
