How to get an invisible ocx 's parent in runtime?

I want to write a backgound ocx which subclasses its parent( form )

while the parent form paint itself.I use VC++ to develop it.But I could

not get the parent property using the method GetParent(),but in VB application I could use the parent property.Perhaps

due to the ocx has the OLEMISC_INVISIBLEATRUNTIME characteristic.
