Hi All

First post, please bear with me.
I'm trying to generate a report from some data in an app I've written. Its columnar in format, date, person, place, stuff like that. I want to generate a report that will look halfway decent and print. CRichEditCtrl and derivatives thereof looked a good idea, especially the code on this web site for the printable version....

But.... How do I get the text into the edit control *easily*, format it into tables that look OK, without it being all messy? And without reams of rtf commands? Help!

No I can't use OLE automation against Word, cos not everyone has MS Office.
