CEdit control, I use SetSel to select some text in an edit control, but don't shows it in the screen

I have and CEdit control, and I want to show to the user in blue (selected) some text, I use SetSel to select some text in an edit control, but don't shows it in the screen ( the blue thing), How can I do this ?
