I have got an active X control which I have placed on a webpage. I have put the web page under the dir D:\InetPub\WWWRoot. If I try to download the web page from another PC, the active X control is not downloaded.

Is it because I am using the Microsoft peer web service as the web server? Do I need to use the IIS as the web server for the client to be successfully download the active x control.

Can anybody throw light on this?
