hi all good people out there,
I have to make a interface(may be wrapper functions) preferably in vb which will be able to connect to a remote machine either through intenet or leased lines or dial up connection and tranfer database files (dbf) to that machine.
I have to provide all threee options as a client may have any of the options of the connection said above.I don't know
the protocols to be used for these three types of connections.Will it be wise to use vb ? Suggest me .Is there any readymade object avialable for making different types of connection and tranfering data .
I have heard of TAPI but don't know much about it,how to use it ,any sample application.Will TAPI be the right choice for me?
Please help.
