Threaded view: how to "feed" it the right way
Just a few days ago I found the threaded display mode here on the forum. It appears to be a nice feature that I have missed on every inet forum since the ancient days of CompuServe.
But as it took myself almost a month to find it, and I'm still not quite clear about how to post correctly in order not to mess up the threaded view, I ask myself: Are enough users in here doing their posts correctly so that threaded (and hybrid) view are of a real practical use?
To make at least me (and hopefully many other users who read this) able to do my posts the right way: Can anyone explain the subtle differences of the various flavours of "reply" buttons to me? I have seen at least "Quote", "Multi-Quote" and "Quick Reply" buttons attached to every single post and two "Post a reply" buttons at the beginning and the end, respectively, of the (linear) thread view.
TIA
