Hi, not sure where AppleScript goes as I cannot program but am hoping if I post here I will get a point in the right direction. It will be interesting to know what it comes under also. The question I would ask follows:

"I am looking to find duplicate JPEG images I have out of thousands in a single folder, to do this I will need to write an AppleScript capable of looking at the files IPTC:Header field in which the data will be the same. Is it possible to do this and how?"


I use OS X 10.6.4 (Snow Leopard)
