How Exactly Does Folder Lock Works?
Ok, I've just been wondering my brains out.
I know:
- You can make a directory attribute as "System" to prevent it from being shown normally from hidden files.
- You can change it's ACLs so that unauthorized users don't have access to it.
- You can also change its CLSID so that Explorer doesn't even recognize it as a directory.
But what exactly does Folder Lock do? The file is "moved" to some other location since it's size is no longer added - that's my guess. But I think there much more going on behind the scenes.
Any veteran can please comment on this issue?
