How can I make a DBGrid control non-clickable?

I mean, at certain point, I don't want my user to click on the DBGrid and inturn change the record pointer, say at the time of adding a new record.

And, after performing that task, I should be able to again click on the Grid.

I tried making the Enabld property=False, but no use.

Please help.
